St. Jude's annual Give Thanks Walk
Every year, over 1,400 members of the LTA National Team, including Founding Mothers, Sisters, Potential candidates, family and friends unite to walk together in support of the lifesaving mission of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital for the annual Give Thanks Walk.
Break the Ice
Break the Ice is a chapter annual event, that helps raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Alpha Delta Alumnae Chapter has raised over $4,000, exceeding their intended goal.
Event is open to friends & family, and it includes two hours of ice skating fun at the Herbert Wells Ince Rink in College Park, MD.
Ornament Exchange
Every Christmas season our chapter likes to celebrate the holidays by drinking hot cocoa, snuggling around a warm fire and exchanging thoughtful gifts. Over the years sisters have created their own personalized game of White Elephant where they exchange customized ornaments. Annually sisters eagerly anticipate not only participating in this Alpha Delta tradition but creating beautiful memories with fellow sisters.
Founder's Brunch
Our Founder's Brunch is an event that we hold in January to celebrate the establishment of Alpha Delta Alumnae chapter! We make it our goal to have all four founders at this event since it's in honor of them. It's a great get together for sisters to come out and met the founders. We usually hold the event at a restaurant. It's a great time to bond and play games.
Mother's Day Celebration
Every year, in honor of Mother's Day, we celebrate with our mother's and/or daughters by coming together for tea and hors-d'oeuvre or for a delightful brunch. Celebration consists of games, food and bonding.
Family & Friends BBQ
Our Chapter BBQ is held annually at the start of the summer! The BBQ is potluck style with hamburgers and hot dogs, and sisters bring sides. All family and friends are invited to the event for fun, food and games!
