As a woman who has already graduated from college, you may wonder what the benefits are of joining a sorority at this stage in your life. As a professional woman, you will have the opportunity to network with sisters from across the country in your field of interest. Many of our sisters have been presented with amazing professional opportunities as a result of their membership. In addition, as you get older, you may miss the bonds you had with some of your friends in high school and college. Being a part of a sisterhood that lasts a lifetime will give you the opportunity to recreate those types of bonds and build strong friendships with women who have the same values as you.
As the first Latin sorority ever created to cater to the needs of Latinas in the nation, Lambda Theta Alpha recognizes the importance of reaching out to others and forming a united coalition of professional, diverse, culturally and politically aware women. We are not an exclusive group of women and believe that all women should be given an opportunity to make their mark on the world.
